Sample Contract (updated Summer 2024)

General Terms and Conditions • Initials required I will be the customer for the following contract with Dilly Dahl Deli. By initialing, I agree, I will be responsible for payment of said contract. I understand that I will be responsible to contact Dilly Dahl Deli via email (dillydahldeli@gmail.com) 14 days prior to the event and if I cancel after the deadline, I will be responsible for 50% of the quote total. I also understand that I am able to edit my invoice up until 14 days prior to the event to accurately reflect the number of guests I will have. I understand that all sales are final once items are delivered and Dilly Dahl Deli is no longer responsible for the items once delivered. I also understand that due to the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dilly Dahl Deli has the right to cancel services prior to the event due to illness as well as to keep employees and event attendees safe. If Dilly Dahl Deli cancels under these circumstances, Dilly Dahl Deli will refund any deposit collected. Leftover Food/Food Safety Practices • Initials required I understand that Dilly Dahl Deli provides the option for the customer to keep leftovers of purchased food - if the customer chooses to not keep the leftovers, they are to contact Dilly Dahl Deli two weeks prior to the event so they can plan to receive the items within 3 hours of initial delivery and donate to a local shelter. The State of Wisconsin has recommendations for hot and cold food service to promote food consumption safety. I understand that Dilly Dahl Deli provides disposable chafing sets for most items (notated in invoice if chafing set is provided) and the chafing fuel lasts two hours or more. If no chafing set is provided, or I am purchasing cold items, it is my responsibility to make sure the items are properly stored or discarded within 3 hours after Dilly Dahl Deli has left the premise (or within 4 hours of picking items up). Cold items are to be stored in refrigeration at 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below and hot items are to be served at 135 degrees Fahrenheit or above. If food has been purchased to be reheated or is reheated the following day, it is my responsibility to follow the provided instructions (if given) and to reheat items to internal temp of 165 degrees. I will reach out to Dilly Dahl Deli with any questions upon delivery or at dillydahldeli@gmail.com. If I decide to keep the leftovers, I understand that once Dilly Dahl Deli leaves the premise, they are no longer responsible for the storage of any leftover product and will not be liable if any food safety issues that can arise due to improper cooling, heating or storage procedures. By initialing this clause, I agree I will be responsible for the leftovers and if I wish to find a way for items to be donated, I will email Dilly Dahl Deli (dillydahldeli@gmail.com) to make arrangements prior to the delivery date. I also acknowledge I understand the food safety TPHC (Time as a Public Health Control) and Dilly Dahl Deli is not liable for food safety issues once they have left premise (or the customer has picked up the items). COVID-19 Waiver • Initials required I understand that Dilly Dahl Deli strives to keep their customers as well as their staff safe during the COVID-19 pandemic and follows the current WEDC guidelines as well as any current guidelines through the Portage County Health Department. By initialing, I agree that Dilly Dahl Deli is not legally responsible for any in attendance contracting COVID-19 and I will not pursue legal action against Dilly Dahl Deli if this occurs. Service Fee for Over $500 and Payment Plan • Initials required I understand that any order over $500 subtotal will be subject to a 15% service fee and that 50% of the total quote will be due 14 days prior to the event. Payment • Initials required Dilly Dahl Deli is happy to have their customers use cash or credit card. Check is to be discussed. By initialing this, I understand that the total includes Wisconsin Sales Tax (unless tax exempt or otherwise noted). If I decide to use cash, I am eligible for a 3% discount from the invoice; I must contact Dilly Dahl Deli via dillydahldeli@gmail.com to arrange payment as both deposit and final payment must be cash to receive the price reduction. This deposit is ONLY for cash. If I decide to use check and there are issues upon deposit, Dilly Dahl Deli will reach out to collect any fees acquired during the transaction.   • Q: What if I am looking for something and it is not specifically on the menu?

    • A: Please reach out to us at dillydahldeli@ gmail.com as we are always open in new ideas!

  • Q: Why isn't everything priced already?

    • A: We are a very small company (the owner and a few of her helpful friends) and with COVID-19, prices for lots of items vary A LOT! In order to make sure we make a profit and you get the best deal, we prefer to quote the items when requested - we hope you understand!

Service Charges & Discounts

(effective Sept. 2024)

  • All listed prices include Wisconsin sales tax as well as the cost of credit card processing.

    • We currently accept cash and credit card for payments.

    • We will remove the sales tax from the price if tax exempt.

    • We will provide a 3% cash discount if both the deposit and final payment is in cash.

  • Dilly Dahl Deli adds a 10 % service charge onto orders of over $300; Dilly Dahl Deli adds a 15% service charge onto orders of $500 or more.

  • Dilly Dahl Deli requests a 50% deposit 14 days prior to an event for all orders over $300.

  • Dilly Dahl Deli requests a 25% non-refundable booking deposit (minimum $200) for all events booked more than 120 days out; this deposit will go towards the 50% deposit collected 14 days ahead of the event.

  • For events ordered less than 3 business days ahead of time, Dilly Dahl Deli reserves the right to add a 15% short notice charge.
